1. How long will it take for a police check?

Police Checks have a turnaround time of under three days. In fact, many are completed in as little as a day, provided we have all of the necessary information and identification. The Australian Federal Police Check typically takes between 6 and 25 days with the average being 10.

2. Which Police Check do I need?

The Australian Federal Police check is acceptable for visas, residency, citizenship, working overseas, or work with in the Commonwealth Government. A New Zealand Police History Check carried out through the Ministry of Justice is most commonly used for employment or volunteer purposes.

3. Why do I need to supply identification?

Identity fraud is becoming a large problem in New Zealand and to carry out any check we must ensure you can prove it is really you who is requesting the check.

4. How will I receive my results?

Once we have received the results, we will email you a PDF which you can then download and print when needed. These are the originals. We will mail you a hard copy of the Australian Federal Police Check.

5. Can I get a refund, if I have paid for my application in error?

Unfortunately not, but we can certainly arrange for a credit to go towards any other related service you may need. For further details, please check our refund policy.

6. Once I have paid for my application, what happens next?

Once we have received your payment in full, we will send you a confirmation email. This also contains information as to how to complete the application process. We will email you a daily update for your peace of mind.
